About This Tour

Discovering Pisa!

I will pick you up directly at the Livorno dock and in 20 minutes we will reach Pisa, the first stop of our tour. In this beautiful city you will discover the Tuscan history and you will have the opportunity to admire our masterpieces first of all the Leaning Tower, the symbol of Pisa and take fabulous photos. You will explore the Miracles’ Square, the historical religious center of the city, that will give you a perfect idea about the richness of Pisa during the Medieval time. You will admire the huge Cathedral of Saint Marie the Assumption, the biggest Baptistery of Italy and the amazing Monumental Cemetery, that encloses some original frescoes of the 13th-century. If you need, you can ask me for a guided tour.

Straight to San Gimignano.

Our tour will continue to San Gimignano, around 1 hour from Pisa. Characterized by its remaining 14 towers over 90 of the time, it is called the Manhattan of the Middle Ages, and it is an incredible work of medieval engineering. You will be amazed by this fascinating jewel, by its Cathedral completely covered by frescoes, some of them original from the 1200, one of the few examples that we still have today in Tuscany. You will have free time to taste the best “italian gelato” in the characteristic medieval square of the village. Part of this nice and relaxing tour is the wine tasting. We will visit infact a typical Tuscan winery, in San Gimignano countryside, where you can discover typical and good food and wine.
