We will visit togheter one of the the most ancient necropolis of IX ā€“ VIII century. The first one in San Cerbone area, that is located along the coast and easily accessible, the second one called Necropolis of the Grottoes, made of hypogeum tombs (directly dug into the rocks). This last, it is located in the woods and it’s possible to visit it, walking along a fantastic path that brings you inside the Mediterranean bush.

The visit will end with the tour of the littleĀ Medieval village, situated on the hill of Populonia, where the Etruscan, built the acropolis. The Castle was built around 1300, and today is a small jewel that gives to travellers amazing view of the Tuscan archipelago.
